The admissions process for an incoming student begins with the completion
of an Admissions Application/Exam registration form.
The Admissions Application, and the application fee, the required letters
of recommendation, and student transcripts should be submitted to the
Director of Admissions before the last Saturday of January.

Students are selected from qualified applicants on the basis of the following
criteria:
- Satisfactory scholastic achievement as demonstrated by the student's
transcript of Grades.
- Satisfactory scores on the Bosco Tech entrance exam.
- Personal qualifications as reported by the student's 8th grade teacher
and principal.
- Satisfactory citizenship as demonstrated by school records and recommendations.
- Personal interview by a member of the Bosco Tech faculty.
- Review of the applicant's file by the Admissions Committee.
Upon acceptance each student will be required to submit the following
information:
- Student Registration Form & Registration fee.
- Business Office Contract & Parent Participation Contract.
- Big Brother Application.
- A copy of Birth or Baptismal Certificate.
- A final school transcript reflecting final June grades.
- Health Office information packet including:
- Student Emergency Card
- Earthquake Emergency Card
- Student Medical History
- Physical Examination Form
- Health Office Medication Policy Statement
- California School Immunization Record
Normally students enter Don Bosco for the beginning of the 9th grade. Depending
on available space Bosco Tech also admits students for the beginning of
the 10th grade. More complete information regarding our admissions process
is available from the Director of Admissions.
