Program: The Bosco Tech baseball program stresses solid fundamentals and seeks to develop in the student athlete the playing and personal skills necessary to be a successful team member. The philosophy of the program is to instill a passion for the sport of baseball with discipline and hard work in each of the players.
League: Camino Real League (Cantwell, Cathedral, Mary Star of the Sea, St. Bernards, Serra, Don Bosco Tech)
Classification: ClF Southern Section: Division V
Levels of competition: Varsity, Junior Varsity
Conditioning session: begins in October with Winter League games played from October to February.
Practice season: begins in February
Competitive season: extends from March to June
Head coach: Coach Jim McDonald is in his seventh season leading the baseball program. For the 2007 season he is being assisted on the varsity staff by Assistant Head Coach Chris Shockley and Pitching Coach Paul Ortiz.
