Don Bosco Tech offers a college-preparatory academic program along with a program of technological studies. Graduation requirements include 40 units in one of eight technology majors.

All first year students take the following classes:

  • Mathematics: Algebra 1, 2 or Algebra 3, 4 or Transition Math
  • English: English 1, 2 - Composition and Literature
  • Religious Studies: Catholic Christianity (one semester), Old Testament (one semester)
  • Social Studies: World History 1, 2 & Geography (9 weeks)
  • Other: Health Education (one semester)
  • Physical Education or Marching Band,
  • Technology Rotation Courses

All second year students take the following classes:

  • Mathematics: Geometry 1, 2; Algebra 1, 2 or Introductory Algebra 2
  • English: English 3, 4 - Composition and Literature
  • Religious Studies: New Testament (one semester), Morality (one semester)
  • Foreign Language: Spanish 1, 2; Bil. Spanish 1, 2; Japanese 1, 2; Chinese 1, 2
  • Fine Arts: Art Appreciation (two semesters) and Music in World Culture (two semesters) or Intermediate Wind Instruments (two semesters)
  • Courses in Technology Major: (Ref. to technology's program of studies.)

All third year students take the following classes:

  • Mathematics: Algebra 3, 4 , Geometry 1, 2 ; or Precalculus 1,2
  • English: English 5, 6 - Composition and Literature or Honors English 5, 6 - Composition and Literature
  • Religious Studies: Church History & Ministry (one semester), Social Justice (one semester)
  • Science: General Chemistry 1, 2 or Honors Chemistry 1, 2
  • Social Studies: U.S. History 1, 2 or Honors U.S. History
  • Foreign Language: Spanish 3, 4 or Bilingual Spanish 3, 4 or Japanese 3, 4
  • Courses in Technology Major: (Rfr. to technology's program of studies.)

All fourth year high school students take the following classes:

  • Mathematics: Business Math, Adv. Algebra & Honors, Trigonometry 1, 2, Statistics, Honors Precalculus 1, 2 & Honors Calculus 1, 2
  • Religious Studies: Christian Lifestyles (one semester), Elective (one semester)
  • Science: Principles of Physics 1, 2 or Honors Physics 1, 2
  • Social Science: Economics, AP Economics US Government or AP American Government
  • Courses in Technology Major: (Rfr. to technology's program of studies.)
